A long trench with a plaid lining that shows at the front edge, the cuff and the back vent, so the pattern reads when the coat moves. The collar folds wide, a self-tie belt marks the waist, and the body falls past the knee.

The Details

Plaid lining visible at edges, cuffs and vent
Wide fold-over collar
Self-tie belt at the waist
Two side pockets
Length falling past the knee

Complete the Look

Straight jeans, a plain sweater and loafers is all it needs — the lining does the work. Add a shoulder bag with a chain strap to lift it.
